Hey!

So this past week has been filled with so much! We have been finalizing so many things at the new women’s house! Down to the scraping paint off the floors, finishing painting, and more! This was Monday and Tuesday where we spent time trying to finish the center for the opening day!

Then we spent Tuesday night in the building worshiping Jesus, and just praying for the rest of the week. We got to sit in the house seeing all of the hard work accomplished, and pray over the rooms that each new mother and child will have.

Then the next day we went out to a new community where we shared the Gospel with many. We were able to grow relationships with those in this community as we walked house to house, and talk to them about Jesus. There was one house where we were able to speak scripture over a women who was taking care of her father at his elderly age. She was also watching her grandchildren, and was running low on strength. We had the pleasure of encouraging her that her labor was not in vein, and that her Heavenly Father sees her trouble. The next house we were able to give a women and children in the home bibles. We prayed over her, and were able to talk to her about how the Bible is the greatest love story to ever exist. We talked about how the Bible comes alive, and how it is living and active. These were just a few conversations.

Then some of our group were welcomed into the school in the community, and we were all invited back this past Friday. We were able to tell all of these precious elementary kids about the Bible, and I had the privilege to share my testimony of coming to know Jesus. We shared verses, laughed, and Jesus willing, made an impact in their lives.

After the time in the school, we walked about of the school and ran into this group of women and children. I went to this little girl, squatted down and handed her a children’s bible. Immediately this women asked if we were Christian’s, and invited us to a prayer meeting there were walking to at their church. Some of us went to this meeting, and some continued to evangelize in the community. I went to this meeting and it was so sweet. The pastor at the church was a women, and her and the other women had hearts breaking for their community, and their families who did not know Jesus. It was a precious moment where we got to sit with these women, pray with them, and have our hearts ache for them. Later they told us how they had missionaries come a few years ago to build the church they now meet in. However, they said they had never had missionaries come to share the Gospel house to house in their community, and they were moved. In return, it deeply moved me.

After the church prayer meeting, we began to walk along the neighborhood to make sure each house was stopped at. We wanted each house to be brought the option of hearing the Gospel, and our team did that! There was a house left that a few girls and I went to. We walked up and one of the little girls from the school we went to earlier was there with her grandma. We came to find out that her Grandma knew the Lord, and had a lack of hearing specifically in her left ear, which made it hard to hold conversations. We then met her son who was deaf and mute. We began to pray earnestly over them, and the grandmother said she felt her head dizzy and then felt a weight lifted off of her. After that she said hear hearing was improved and could hold conversations better! Praise God!! She then shared some of her favorite verses, and we spent time with her son. It was a precious time with this family, and talking about all Jesus has done!

God is still moving!
